I went to Zumba and Denny went to the gym. He said they have every piece of equipment you can think of, along with TVA at each treadmill and elliptical station.
After lunch, we went to see the movie "Flight" with Denzell Washington. Very good but I am not sure i needed to see that before boarding another plane.
While getting ready for our big night, we received a phone call from the Richardsons, whose daughter lives across the street from Frank and Jan.They have invited us to their mini-suite. Friday night for cocktails and dinner afterwards. Very nice of them to do that.
Of course the highlight of our day was the Chef's Table. We were so fortunate to be picked. We met withe head Maitre de and he escorted our group of 12 where we donned lab coats for our tour of the galley. Every dining room and/or restaurant, including room service has its on galley. All the workers smiled and said hello to us. While in the galley, we were severed champagne with four different, delicious appetizers. After that we proceeded back to a dining room where a beautiful, candlelight table was set up. There we started out with a risotto and portabella mushroom was served with a Chardonnay wine. The risotto was to die for. We tried to pace ourselves for we knew a lot more was coming. We then were served a strawberry sorbet was served with grey goose vodka added. This was to cleanse our palate. The main course was (and all of this was served on one plate) Filet mignonette with green peppercorn sauce, sea scallops, huge lobster with clarified butter or bearnaise sauce, mustard and herbed crusted lamb chops, vegetables and artichoke salad. This was served with a merlot. I couldn't even eat half. Then they
brought out a cheese , walnut bread, date nut bread and grape course, followed by a desert plate that contained 3 different desserts and a beautiful presentation. Then of course we were served coffee and sweet cookies, chocolate covered strawberries.
We were given a princess cookbook, a long stemmed rose and a copy of the menu.
I made a ton of pictures, the entire dinner lasted 2.5 hrs, We left their went straight tour room for more after dinner mints (Tums)and bed.
It was unforgettable.
