Well, we thought today would be easy but British immigration thought differently, so we were up early and had to report to the Princess theatre at 9AM for a face to face passport check:(. After that we had a quick bkfst and headed out to board the Dover town and castle shuttle. The wind is unbelievable!!!!! We go straight to the castle which was first inhabited by HenryII in the 13th century. Before touring the castle, we saw the wartime tunnels used during WWII, also saw the tunnel hospitals. Amazing. Way too much to write here. Sad part was we couldn't take photos:(. After the tunnels we had lunch and headed to King Henry's tower. They did a good job with this castle. They had video stories and rooms with furniture. We have pictures. Denny went to the top of the tower and amazingly made it back down without being blown off.
We then went back to town where I went to a cellular shop to find out what was wrong with my phone. I found out the SIM card was locked for international use. They told me to have someone at home call pretending to be me and request it be unlocked for international use. I hope Debbie is able to do that for me. I only use Internet every 3rd day as it is very expensive! 200 min. Cost $99. I have 69 mins left. May have to buy a few more.
I feel lost without my phone. Please send me an email and let me know how everyone is and how is my Rudy:(. Hopefully, I will be able to text soon.
BTW the weather has been very cool and we haven't really headed north yet.
Tomorrow Rotterdam!
