When he retuned we went to the DR for lunch and met a lovely couple who recognized me from cruise critic. We had to hurry from there to hear John Lawrence
In the theatre during a port lecture on Copenhagen. He gave us a lot of pointers. The best news is Princess decided to give us a shuttle bus into town and back. That was
good news as the public bus to our pier doesn't run on Sundays and we would have to take a taxi. We weren't signed up for a Princess tour....doing it on our own. After navigating the streets of Paris on our own. We feel like pros now. LOL.
We each had a coupon for a complimentary drink from Princess, so we went downstairs and sat in the Piazza and had Martine's before dinner.
Tonight was our last dinner with our friends from Maryland so it was kind of sad. They were so much fun.
After dinner we went to the theatre with Bob and Karen for a great variety show by a guy playing the saxophone and another guy playing a violin. Both were amazing.
Over 1700 are leaving tomorrow, but 900 of us are staying. I know the new people joining us are so excited tonight.
The temp today was 49 degrees. They are just starting spring and the pollen is terrible. I look crazy...my cheeks and eyes are so read and watery, plus I have had a terrible cough. Getting much better. Dr. Cantrell gave me prescriptions before we left for a medrol pack and an antibiotic. Cough is much better...hopefully, itchy, runny eyes and nose will soon leave as well . Not to worry....still having a great time and haven't missed a beat.
Cell phone still working and I will be buying more Internet minutes for the last segment.
