Day8. Limon, Costa Rica

Another early start :( , but a short excursion. We went on an excursion to a Dole banana plantation by bus. Our transportation has been excellent. Large clean A.C.
Buses and Ferries.
There is so much poverty in Costa Rica it is really sad. We also made several stops in our hour long bus ride. We stopped so the bus driver could get us bananas from a roadside stand as the bananas at the Dole plantation are all green. We saw monkeys in the trees and we stopped for our driver to show us a cocoa plant. Very interesting.
The plantation banana plan was very interesting and we all said we would never look at a banana the same way again.

There is a lot to tell when we get home.
Back to the ship for lunch and lounging by the pool.
Denny and I saw the movie The Judge before heading to bed, M&E went to the casino. We really enjoyed the excursion today.....lots of fun with our guide.
Tomorrow is a sea day and boy do we need it.
We are blessed.
